i saw the earlyer posts about the member name on the sticker, but i thought that just member would be nice. i am just trying to keep it simple for the sticker. as for a photo for like a main page or a banner i would like to get more detail done like the shadowing on the ramhead. a little more than that.

Here is the message I got from Dan at dansdecals.com:Hello,
Depending on the size you wanted, I could make the decals. However,since there would be 4 colors of vinyl layer on top of each other, the cost would not be very economical. I do offer quantity discounts for larger orders, but before the discount you're looking at about 4X the cost of a single-color decal. If you gave me an overall size I would be glad to quote you a price.

4x4 is great. sorry about yesterday Cox internet was messing up. their having problems with there DNS server for my hub. anyway the 4x4 would be the best size, in my oppinion not to big not to small.

FYI guys..
I talked to my guy.. If we do a vinal sticker (solid background) it costs about $1 more but will last alot longer then a clear one and he can also do the individual names at the bottom for no extra cost.. we just need to make sure he has the correct spelling when he cuts them all.
Total cost would be about $5 each. for a 4" x 4" sticker.
To get these done I would need a copy of the final picture using only 4 colors.. The current designs have multiple shades of the colors and it would take some work to get that fixed. I have no problem fixing it.. but I wouldn't be able to get it done near as fast as if we fixed it in the beginning.
I'm curious what Danss price would be.

Sounds good Eddie. Still no prices from Dan. If we end up going with Knobby's guy, I will probably get mine just saying MEMBER as just having "Bill" on there may look dumb, but that's just my opinion. Some of your other more original names would probably look good on the decals.
Oh and Eddie, if you make yours out of 4 colors, we need to make sure that MEMBER is included in one of those 4 colors, I couldn't remember if I had seen a prototype of that yet. Thanks!

Here's what I got back from Dan, doesn't sound good:
At that size I wouldn't be able to make the decal. The text and stars would be too small to separate from the unwanted vinyl around it. The
smallest size I could make would have to be at least double that (8"x8") and the cost for one decal at that size would be $24. Orders of 100
or more are discounted at 50%, so your price would be $12 each for 8" x8" size. If this is in your price range let me now and I'd be glad to
sell you a single decal for proofing before you placed a larger order.

Looks like we are going to have to go with Knobby's guy which is fine by me. Hopefully Eddie can come up with a final design tonight and maybe Knobby could get his guy on producing these either tomorrow or Monday.

I got to looking at the logo and had a couple of thoughts:
Since we are going with Knobby's printer, we will have a solid colored background. What color are we going to make that (if we make it black, we won't be able to see the text above any below unless we change it to red). The only reason I ask is because the grey that is there now might count as another color and a black background with red lettering might look cool (imo).
Do we want these cut in a circle? Me, Knobby, and Eddie have talked about this on IM. We seem to think a circle would look the best.
Just a couple of things to think about. Again, eddie, awesome job (it's now the background on my desktop!)

I may not be checking the boards quite as often on Saturday and Sunday as I will be up in Michigan at our lake house which doesn't have internet access unless I dial a long distance number which gets kind of expensive. Should be checking again regularly on Sunday night.
