I have a question regarding cruise control on a 2002 Dakota Sport Plus 5spd. When I use cruise control on the highway, and get to a hill, I lose a lot of speed...(or example it will drop from 110 km/h to 70 km/h) is this normal for a truck? My wife has a 5spd Focus and when she gets to the same hill, her speed maintains the same. Is there something wrong with my cruise? or is it just the way dodge made them?

God Dak?,
I have the same truck but with the automatic. When I hit a hill it doesn't lose as much as 5km/h. But like I said, it's an automatic. It doesn't sound right though to lose that much speed on a hill while using cruise.
