That's exactly why GM designed one from the ground up for the new Trailblazer. I will forever be a V8 fanatic, but you gotta respect the torque and lifespan of an I6.

Dr. D I agree. I like I8's so much I almost bought an old buick with the first 2 speed hydramatic transmission and an I8. THe body was great but the inside needed alot of work. My mom would not let me buy it. Power train and body were in great shape. It even had all to origanal paint.

My other car (wifes) is a 92 jeep cherokee 4.0L, with a 3"lift and 31's. It has 170,000 miles on it and doesnt use a drop of oil. I frequent a jeep site (naxja.org) and guys have over 250,000+ miles on 4.0l. I hope they bring them back, but I doubt it, too much room for an engine.
