Message: I have a 2000 Dakota CC 3.9.auto,4wd w/14,000m.I have black soot in my tailpipe and my gas mileage has dropped to about 10 mpg.Truck runs fine at all speeds,idles o.k.In late December the truck died after starting,started right back up and hasn't happened since.It seems obvious the truck is running too rich but it seems fine.I get no codes using the on/off 3times with the key.Any ideas? Ken
