Subject: 32x11.5 on stock 4x4?

Message:
Will 32x11.5 tires work on a stock height 1999 4x4 Dak CC? Or, should I say with the 31x10.5 stock size? I'm contemplating getting some of the BFG All Terrain KO or the Kumho Venture's with the aggressive tread to replace the GoodYear RT-S's that have 50k on them.

FWIW, I've got 32x11.5's on my '00 4x4, which is stock height as far as I know. No problems.

Hey, thanks. What tires do you have? Also, from your profile I notice your a geo person. I got my BS in geology in '96 although I work in computers now though.

I had 32X11.50 BFG K/O's on factory 8-inch wheels on my '99 CC 4x4. They looked good and fit well, other than rubbing the frame at full-lock. I made steering stops and eliminated this, however. I currently have a 2000 QC 4x4 with 275/65-17 tires, which are a little taller than stock.

Idaho,
Hey, a fellow rock guy :) Seems like most geo majors end up doing something else. I think I'm due for a career change in a few years.

I've got Lee Trail Mark Radial APRs. Nah, I've never heard of 'em either, but they were on the truck when I got it. I'm more of a sport tire man myself, but these are good for crawling around on landfills.
