Well, after much debate, research, test drives and haggling with dealers I ordered my dream truck...a 2003 QC SLT+ 2WD 4.7L 5-speed in Patriot blue & silver with heated mirrors, bodyside mouldings, sliding rear window, soft tonneau and Infinity sound.
I'm so pumped about it...I've never been this excited about a new vehicle before...then again, I've never owned a Dak before!
This website is incredible, all of the comments, questions, complaints, praise and opinion have been very useful for me.
I hope to post a picture once it arrives...in 6-8 LONG weeks!

Now do like I did order $2,000 worth of add ons. My problem is I'm in Germany and APO dlivery sucks the big one.

Now take the next step and if you haven't done so already, check out the Dakota Mailing List. www.dakota-truck.net I have gotten more great information from them then you can possibly imagine. My truck was pure vanilla before I found that web site and now I can't wait to do the next mod I have in mind. BTW folks, i see by his email addy we have another convert! Just like me, his addy is at GM! Again, Welcome aboard!
