 Subject: Belly Pan Gasket

Hi guys, i got a '99 dak 3.9auto and it's ONLY got 17,000kms on it!!! Yes, only 17,000! Anyways, my warranty is running out this month and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on things to check over. I've heard stories about the belly pan gasket and i'm wondering at what approx. mileage does it fail at. Also, is there anyway that i can check it to see if it is in fact leaking???? If there are any other tips on what to look out for, i'll greatly appreciate it!!!
