 Subject: Stang GT kill last night

Not bragging or anything, but i beat a Stang GT last night. Pretty funny b/c the guy who was driving, his gurl kept looking at me and my friend, so my friend leaned out of the window and blew her a kiss and the dude got mad and started reving his engine. So i looked at my friend and was like "haha, why the hell is he revving his engine, of coarse he can beat me, i have a Auto 4X4", so for shyts and giggles, i revved mine also and the light turned green and we got off the line just as quick as each other but i kept pulling further and further until he got about the front of my passenger door and he let off. I was amazed that my heavy ass 4X4 did that. That brought a HUGE smile to my face the rest of the night. haha.
well, just wanted to let all u racers out there about my GT Kill!!..

Good thing I have my waders on. "IF" it was a GT, then it was driven by a complete moron. It might have felt good at the moment, but don't get your hopes up. If you go against someone that knows what their doing, thy'll hand you your ass. Totally stock 00-03 GT's will run high 13's (13.95 to 13.99) when driven by a competent driver. If they have mods, then it still won't make much difference...

yeah this wasnt a 00-03 model... im thinking it was the 96 or 97 body style.. not sure. But yeah, i beat him.. hehe... i guess he didnt know how to drive.

Even late models,,,if the guy doesn't know how to drive the balls off that car will run a 15_ something in the 1/4.

If it was 96-98 auto I believe it. I have seen one dyno ,w/off-road h-pipe and cold air kit, at 173RWHP.
'99 RC R/T,Gibson Headers and Cat-back, MSD 6a BTM, IAT adjuster, Powerdyne Supercharger. M-1 4/2 now on.

His exhaust was really loud with that sweet exhaust sound mustangs V8s have, and i believe it was dual flowmasters. I have a friend with a V6 Stang with dual flowmasters and it sounds nothing like the guys car i raced. Not sure if it was auto or manual. Oh well... beleive me or not, i know what I and my truck did.

So do I. Regardless, it's a good kill for our trucks. I just need to hurry up and thrown on a S/C or a T/C in the next 6 months or so. Talk about a total ambush.
