Subject: Can just get tires to chirp. whats next?

Ive got a 2000 V6 dak with a couple of performance mods ie)homebrew intake and a V8 TB and i can just get the tires to chirp (slightly) from a dead stop when i slam the pedal. Just wondering what your next mod(s) would be to be able to get them to spin from a dead stop.

Im thinkin probably a muffler but not sure if this will do it.

oh ya the other day i timed my 0-60 to be about 13 secs if that helps

thanks

Your 0-60 can not be 13 seconds, that just seems so high. Are you sure that was the 0-60?

When you timed it did you do it with your own watch while trying to drive as fast as you can or what?

YA Skeletor that is what i did. I only did it once though. I thought that was a little slow. Any idea what range its supposed to be in? I'll try a few more timings. Also im just stomping the gas from a dead stop no powerbraking. and yes it is a auto.

thanks

Dodge has a "traction control" programmed into the computer. This will prevent auto transmissions from spinning the tires on take off.

If you get your computer flashed, the traction control can be removed and then you need to start saving for new rear tires.

Ryan,

Try taking off that V8 TB, you'll get some low end torque back, and just maybe spin your tires.
It's only an auto V6, whatidya expect?
A mufflers' not gonna do it either, just sound louder.

Crzy,

Traction Bars don't give your tires more traction on wet pavement, they'll still spin more on wet pavement.
