Message: Has anybody had this problem. Apparently there is a press-fit elbow on the transfer case (driver side, just behind front driveshaft when viewing from the driver side). This elbow is connected to a breather hose. Apparently mine fell out and disappeared. My truck spewed out 2 qts of tranny fluid this morning. I was just wondering if anybody has had this problem.
My baby's a '98 Dakota w/318 and 4WD.
