some are, some arent. It should say if it is in the glove box or on the driver's side axle tube.

look at the driver's side axle tube for a tag... if its not there you can always jack both rear tires up and put your vehicle in drive (block front wheels!). spin one tire, if the other spins in the same direction = posi, if it spins in the opposite direction = open

or just hold one foot on the brake ever so slightly and us the other foot to floor the gas pedal (with tranny in drive) and see how many tires start to smoke!
