 Subject: weak AC

The air vent on the left side of the steering wheel does not put out enough cold air. I have a 2001 CC and even if I close the other vents the air flow does not increase that much. This means I a have to turn the AC on full power to cool this side of the truck. The rest of the vents work fine. Are all the trucks like this or do I have a problem.

The vent on the left side of my steering wheel pumps out nearly as much air as the others. Might have some kind of blockage goin' on there.
On a similar note, when I have the blower on my feet, I reach down to feel the air but can't feel any consistent air flow. Is this normal? It just feels like some wind is getting whirled around but no 'real' stream of air even on high.
I'm gonna do a search now. ; )

On my 02 cc the left side vent doesn't blow near as much air as the others. Same as you describe. Must be some defect.

i have the same problem with my 01 CC. The left A/C vent blows out very weak. there have to be something we could do to get it right.

Yep i have the same problem with my '01 CC. I think it has to do with the changes they made to the new dash. Everyone go thank the quality control department.... :(

It's crossed my mind to ask them why the A/C sucks so much. I think I might ask my dealer, Dave Smith, to take a look at it and see what they can do. However, on the bright side, the blower itself works great; it can pump mass amounts of air all day long!

I gotta take my truck in for an alignment next week, so i can ask and see what Tom Addis dodge says about it. I doubt there is anything they can do. If i get bored, and have some spare time, maybe i'll take the dash apart and see if there is anything I can mod to make it flow better.
