Hey, this might have been talked about before, but i have never seen a post about it. What i was thinking is that the Owner of this "Dodge Dakotas" website/forum should get Banner stickers made and sell them or give them to members?? The reason i say this is b/c im beginning to see more and more people around my area with either a lifted Dak or a Lifted Durango or a slammed dak and just regular daks, and if one of these people see the sticker on, for example, my truck, they will think "hmmm, i think ill go check that website out and see what its all about". Its advertising if u ask me, and it will help this webiste/forum grow even larger than it already is. I also think its a good idea for those of us who enter our daks into car/truck shows.
Im not saying make a HUGE ugly sticker, but one that is just right, like maybe a 3inch high and 2 1/2 foot long banner in various colors. Or maybe even some small circle stickers that we could give out at car/truck shows.
what does everyone think???

I was thinking about this myself, since I'm a graphic designer... I even know a guy in the sign cutting biz that could make up 100s of them pretty cheap.
Looking at the Dodge sticker on the tail gate and thinking of how to modify/add to it so it would read www.DODGEdakotas.com without looking tacky. I think I could match the typestyle/font without a problem. What are all the color options Dodge has for that rear sticker? Black and grey? I never really noticed.
My brother has a sweet VW GTI and www.VWvortex.com sticker that is nice and plain... looks really good without being overpowering.

I wrote this email to the Dan guy at "Dansdecals.com", i will post his reply when i receive it.
"Hey Dan, I was wondering if you could make this sticker/banner up for me. I need it to be 2 1/4" high and about 35" to 40" long decal. I would want it in silver color with everything in caps, and the same font and bold as the "dakota" decal is on ur main page) i need it to say this:
" WWW.DODGEDAKOTAS.COM", and perhaps maybe u can get the Dodge "rams head" logo before the "www" and after the "com".
Can u give me a price on both the regular decal and the decal with the rams head logo??.. i would appreciate it greatly. Also, could u give me Individual price and bulk price for an order of these decals??....

Rocco... Yeah thats where i was planning on putting it. Some people might want to put it on the sun visor part, but i prefer the rear window.

Dan is a great guy to deal with. I have two decals on my truck thanks to him and I have been very impressed with his work. I would be interested in a decal, but not that big, I don't have anywhere to put one that big on my truck!!! But hey, I am just glad some people are thinking about this again!

Rocco... hmmm... yeah i have the sliding rear window also. Yes the size would be to big for the SRW (forgot i dont drive my other truck anymore, oops). Well hmm, what size do u think would fit good on either side of the SRW???...
I still havent gotten a response from Dan. He must be busy with the business!

i was thinkin maybe like 18"...just like ones that speedtweaks (www.speedtweaks.net) has...but i cant pull up the web page that REKER had in his email for dan...dam work computers suck!!...ill take a look at when i get home later...ill also measure my back window and come up with a number...will be in touch.

Rocco...Sorry i didnt respond sooner. been kinda busy. But yeah those dont look bad at all. Also, Dan forgot to put the "jpg" at the end of the address. Heres what he wrote me. I asked him to make them around 15 inches. I keep forgetting to measure my back window!!.... But does 15 inches sound about right??.... Ill do it today if i dont forget again!... haha. well, heres what he had to say:
" I can make them smaller. At 15" wide the letters would be about 1 inch tall. The price at this size is $6.00 each for just the website without the ram heads. The ram heads would add about 2½" to the length and $2.00 to the price ($8 each).

I have the sliding rear window on my 2001 CC and here are the measurements:
The Center Portion: 11 1/2 inches wide
Side Portions: 15 inches wide at the top
slopes to 20 1/2 inches on the bottom of the windows. I would very interested in this logo to put on my truck, not sure how it would look with just one decal on the side portion of the rear window though.

Im with Nitro Junkie on the voting, however, i want my stickers NOW..lol.. sorry, but im impatient sometimes... Personally, i like the ones with the Rams heads also. Im going to put one on each side of the rear window. and maybe put one on each side of my club cab window. Not sure yet.

Mark, i was going to say something about ordering them in different sizes and colors also. Sounds like it would be the smart thing to do being that theres alot of Dakotas out there that have the solid rear window and might want a bigger banner.
Another thing Mark, you wouldnt happen to have some business cards for this website forum would u??... I ask b/c when some people enter their trucks in shows and/or when another Dak Owner sees his/hers truck and stop to talk and ask questions about it, we can just give them one of the cards and tell them that alot, if not all of their questions can be answered here. Some people wouldnt mind giving cards out, but some people would. I personally wouldnt mind giving out cards.
Just trying to get the word out to more and more Dakota owners.
