Hey everybody, as some of you know I am an internet dealer for AMSOIL. I only handle the funds, and the oil comes straight from the various distribution centers in the US. I get my products for my truck in about 2 days from the Dallas center. I gained a definite 3/4MPG in my 4.7L and got 19mpg on a 800 mile trip, still trying to figure that one out since I usually got 16mpg before the AMSOIL. I will soon be switching the tranny fluid out for 5W30 soon(5spd). The engine got a little smoother after the oil, but was definitely quieter, major difference. Afterwards, plus a K&N filter, I dropped a 10th in the quarter mile. The oil change interval for the regular synthetic is 25,000 miles or 1 yr and filters are 12,500 miles or 6 months. Sounds scary, but old cars used to have intervals of 10,000 miles on regular Dino oil. Go figure, mainly a scam by oil companies to make mucho profit, 3000 miles on Mobil 1 and Valvoline Synthetic is a joke. Well check it out and let me know if you are interested in any products.
