Subject: RE: water found on pass floor board! help IP: Logged
Message: Ack, I have a '01 QC and over the weekend, I was cleaning out the truck from my Pismo Beach trip and noticed the bottom of the floor mat had some moisture on it so I lifted up the carpet and found a LAKE under there, several inches on the pass floor!! Well, being here in sunny So Cal, rain isn't really a factor, but heat is, and lately, with 100*+ here with unusually high humidity, I've been running the a/c alot, almost all day with a/c on. I'm leaning toward the a/c drain, which I found to be un-obstructed, so I'm gonna fab up an elbow and extension like the others and see if that works. Was it 3/4"? It's kinda tucked up in there, can't really tell the size. TIA for the help, this topic has taught me alot!!

Message: Hello,
I'm having the same problem.
However, I don't believe my problem is from the A/C. I've had my truck parked in my driveway and have not run the A/C in several weeks. We had a hard rain the other night and sure enough 1 gallon of water in the passenger floorboard.
Unfortunately my Dak is a 99 and I'm over the 70 miles. I have about 73 thousand on it now. It's going to the dealer tomorrow...

Message: Have you considered that it might be your heater core? Just a long shot. If not that then maybe one of the hoses.
