the little orange bar does not line up with the correct gear. how can i fix this?? my truck is no longer under warranty so i would prefer to do it myself, thanks for any help

If it's a little off you can adjust it with your fingers and it should be fine. First you have to take the gauge covers off then the steering column covers and then you should see how it works and be able to make adjustments where needed.
