 Subject: Anyone with a 02 reg cab SXT ?

If so I have a question, I brought my truck to the dealer for a soaking wet passenger carpet which they diagnosed as a leaking rear window. They had a glass shop remove and reseal the window, when I got the truck back the center child seat tether, the one between the bucket seats against the back wall, was missing, after arguing with the service guy and convincing him that there was one in this location he finally went to look for it and said they could not find it and claimed to order one.
My question is when looking at the tether can you see the bolt head or is there some sort of plastic cap covering it. There are non on the dealers lot so I can not compare.

I just went and looked at mine...You can see the bolt head, its black..well mine is anyway.

Thanks for taking the trouble to go look, guess I never looked at it very close, didn't think the bolt head was visible, but it is.

Yep, it's visible. Sorry to hear about your window. Luckily I've not had that problem. I'v e had my truck since February. Do you have the sliding window or just the plain glass?

I have the fixed window, while I was at the service counter either waiting for my truck or fussing about the crappy job they did I heard several customers complaining about rear leaking windows, service guy told me that been bombarded with rear window leaks.
