Does anyone know where I can get a good as new condensor for a 1999 3.9 4x4? Mine is leaking and I checked OEM car parts.com but they want $270 for one. Does anyone have access to a reputable junkyard that may have one? If you can find one that is considerably less, let me know the cost. I would be willing to pay more than it costs you and to have it shipped here. I live in Colorado near Denver, but I am not having any luck hunting one down here. Thanks in advance!

I had to replace mine. I bought it at Auto Zone for about $130. I had to order it for a 98 because they didn't have it available for 99 yet. I checked at the dealer and the oe part number is the same for both years.

I checked the Autozone here and the cheapest that they can get me ('99 or '98) is $223.99. That is also cheaper than Checker Auto Parts. Can you double check the price on the one you bought? I would be interested in buying one there if possible.

all i have is the compressor. if i new that they were that expensive i wouldnt of done that.

Anyone else that may have one out there or can get one cheap? I am somewhat desperate. I would like to put it in sometime in the next few weekends. If you are able to price one (98 or 99 are the same) and find one cheaper than the $224 I found, please let me know. I would try to make it worth your while!
