I took my Dakota back to the dealership today. It had standing water underneath the Passenger side floor mat. They said Dodge knew about the problem, it was a leak around a hose for the air cond. They did not have a fix for it yet. They put a little silcon around it and hoped it fixed it. We took up the carpet and thier was an inch of standing water under it. I expect they mildew smell to start anytime. The good news is I get all new carpet, the bad news is the truck only has 7000 miles I really don't need new carpet. So the moral of the story is check your floor boards!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least your dealer said he knew what the Problem was. I had that happen to me they tried to fix it from the out side 4 times claiming I did not know what I was talking about!!! Then I put the Silcone on there my self and took it back (to a diffrent Dealership) this one in Denton TX and if you live around there stay away from this hole. Any way they Said that putting silcone on there voided my warrenty as so did my bigger Wheels and tires WTF ever I said and went back to a 5 star Dealer. I think 5 star Dealers are the only way to go.
