 Subject: Tire Question....plz help!

Ok, i just went to my Co-Op station and asked them what was the biggest tire i could fit on my dak. Just so you know, i have 98' ext. cab, 2wd dak. They said that 235-75-R15 was the biggest that could fit. That's about 27, 28 inches in diameter. I was told the 31's could fit. I'm confused here. If somebody could explain. Also, i'm getting the sport king AT, i think. Unless that mattters with tire size. HELP PLZ!!!

on 8" wide rims, 31.5x 10.5 will fit.

I had 32X12.5X15 on stock 15*8 rims. The only draw back to this size of tire was that it threw the speedometer off by about 4 miles an hour.
I didn't like the way they rode...sounded like a truck driving down the road.
I do like the new tires I put on. 31*10.5*15 Firestone Wilderness ATs. Not much of a rain tire as I have found out, but handles quite nicely off road and on dry pavement.

my buddy had 30x9.5 on his 2 wheel drive. he said they rubbed slightly on full turns

Well...everybody has diff. answers so i'm still not sure of what tire size is best. Btw, i have 15x8 stock wheels.
