The Avalanche is a good truck trapped in a *explicative* body. It has a good truck power train and chassis. The Aztek is minivan based.

There is justice...yesterday I saw a guy with an Avalanche at Home Depot who spent about 15 minutes removing the bed/wall panels so he could load some lumber. He had panels all around it on the parking lot. If you need a truck, buy one!!

BTW, Dodge Rams are also Hencho en Mexico too.

My boss traded in his one year old, purple, fully loaded Trans Am for a green Aztec. His Trans Am was so sweet, leather seats, custom stereo, 18" chrome rims...you name it. I'll never forgive him for that.

i think that GM brought back the same designers that did the old lumina/silihouette mini-vans to work on the aztek. the aztek and that old lumina are both at the top of my 'ugliest vehicle ever' list. every time i see those old vans my toes curl up...

What is wrong with the Pontiac Aztec? Aside from the fact they are UGLY as sin, they come with this cool tent thingy that allows you to sleep in the back in comfort.

Those Mercury Mountaineers are pretty ugly too. I can't help but wonder how anyone can walk onto a dealer lot and say "Yeah, that's it. I want the Aztec/Avalanche/Mountaineer. I hope it comes in yellow!"

I saw Ford Explorer Sport Track yesterday with a full cargo rack on its roof, complete with eight big Hella lights (four front,two rear facing, two side facing. It also had an axe and shovel lashed to the sides of the rack.... really dumb looking!...the owner must have a Land Rover fetish.
