Please help me...I'm looking to buy a 2002 QC SLT 2WD Auto and can't decide between the V6 and 4.7L. I won't be using my Dak to tow or haul anything heavy and I won't be making ANY mods to it. What gas mileage can I expect from the two?? 0-60?? "Rumbling" sound??
Also, anyone have any pics of my dream Dak...QC SLT with Patriot blue and silver???

This is your Dak.
Get the 4.7 it gets about the same gas mileage and is a lot more fun.
Gibson headers, Gibson Cat-back, Edelbrock IAS shocks, K & N drop in, 180 stat, Jet stage II chip, ARE Lid

The QC is heavier than the CC or Std, so you will want the 4.7. It's better to have the power when you need it than to need more power and not have it.
I have a 2002 QC with the 4.7 and I love having mo-par when I need it.

You won't be happy with the v6. The 4.7 is only a tiny bit more thirsty and has lots more guts. Get the 4.7 you won't regret it.

get the 4.7. I just bought a 02 qc,4x4,4.7,slt+ and I get about the same mileage as my 99 dak 3.9 reg. cab 5spd. 2wd.

One of the guys at work and I both got 01 4X4 QCs last year. He got the 3.8 with an auto trans and I got the 4.7 with the 5 spd.
He traded his in last month for the 4.7. Reason was the lousy gas mileage..about 13 to 14. He is now a happy camper.
I am averaging in the high 18s, last tank was 19.6 mpg.

4.7 for sure. My wife has the qc 4x2 with the 6 cyl. No power at all. I have to hear about it all of the time.

What2do, You know that feeling when your merging onto a highway and running out of lane and there's a big truck coming up in your mirror. Or you pull out to pass someone pulling a trailer and your fully committed and then see on-coming headlights. You know the deep pancreatic acid burn in your gut when your body gets a bit spooked in these cases. Well, if you like that feeling get the 6 cylinder. If you don't, get the 4.7L. ............ Plus it just pulls so strong the smiles alone are worth the extra money for the option.

Also what kind and what size rims are those.. I love the look of your truck i have one the same color and those rims look great on it.
