what size tires could/should i get?? i have a 00 CC stock height, prob. not gonna drop it anytime soon. will 245/70/17's work. i can get those for 90 bucks new. will these fit on the r/t rims. what sizes are possible to use if this isnt good? thanks alot

I have a 00 QC and put a set of R/T rims on it,
the only size I could get was 255/55/R17 and that is what comes on them from the factory. They are also a bit pricey @ 1055.00 for a set of Goodyear RSA tires. No complaints about them though. Oh, one more thing, that price has the mounting and balancing included. You might can find them a little cheaper online at tirerack or
something.

well i work at a chevy dealership, can get them mounted and balanced for pretty much nothing, i have a "tire" guy who can get tires, i just had my dad call him and he just gave prices on that size that he had. i will have to ask for the 255/55/17 price specifically. he did say that he had sets of the original dakota tires w/ yellow lettering for 80 bucks each, wonder if that is that size, i am just wondering what other sizes will work....

I just use autocomplete in internet
explorer i am still kinda new to this
board. But that is the only size
that will work unless you want your speedo
to be off. The only brands I could find in that
size were from goodyear RSA & Bridgestone Pilots.
And like I said that is the factory R/T tire
size.

On my lowered R/T I went with 275/50/17 Nitto's - Great Tires - Lasted a long time - (L@@KED great - Perfect Size) - They were $150.00 each from www.tirerack.com
It depends on what Brand Tire it is, but I'm not sure that the 245's would work.

I bought the Dunlop 255/55/17 Rover GTX from the Tirerack and they were $569 for the set and i have to say they are a great tire for the price i have about 4000 miles on them now with little to no wear at all.

I have Toyo Proxes S/T at 255/60/17, they are the best tires I have ever owned. Mounted and balanced for like $140 each.

well i just bought kumhos 255/55/17's for 89 a piece, and 6 bucks extra to mount and balance. i think its a decent deal anyways
