This TSB basicly states that ATF+4 should be used in all aplications that used ATF+2 or ATF+3. The only vechiles that are not to use ATF+4 are 1999 and earlier minivans that were eguiped with ATF+4R. They should continue to use ATF+4R.
The Reason for the switch are as follows:
>Better anti-wear properties
>Improved rust/corrosion
>Controls oxidation
>Eliminates deposits
>Controls friction
>Retains anti-foaming properties
>Superiorproperties for low temp. operation
