Message: Don't have it there yet, but I've got some on the roof on the passenger side front corner where the roof meets the upper right corner of the windshield. The paint is starting to bubble but hasn't cracked yet and it's about the diameter of a nickel.

Message: yea, I had rust on the same piece in my 97 dakota. It rusted pretty good when I lived in Salt country. You can buy that piece of trim at the dealer and it's real easy to replace. The old trim just pulls right up and the new piece clips on. I think it was expensive tho.... $40 bux or something like that.

Message: I have it too. I've been searching for a replacement part online for days. Going to try NAPA tomorrow. Mine's so bad that the window's loose, and there's a clanging noise everytime I close the door. Hopefully I'll replace the parts and it will hold the window tighter.

Message: My 97 Dak had the same problem. But it was near the end of the trim, towards the rear. Sold it before it got worse.

Message: Mines doing it too..front and rear of each window..mainly the rear doors of my Durango. You could try junkyards, i dont know how much theyd be, but Im starting to see more and more Durangos and Dakotas in Junkyards that are wrecked and have plenty o good parts.
