Subject: JBA Headers Installed!! IP: Logged
Message: I just got my JBA headers installed!! There isn't a difference in off the line power, but there is a difference in top end power. They sound awsome!!
So a question is, what next? I have the Ravin exhaust, air intake system, ASE chip, and now the headers. I have a 4.7, 4x4, and AWD quad cab. Thanks in advance.

Message: If you have done the exhaust, intake and headers, I would do the throttle body next. I have a flowmetrics on my 5.9 and I would definately recommend it.

Message: It is like adding a bigger carb, allows more air intake to enter the engine. Check them out at

Message: Are the headers you installed "shorty" headers, or regular headers? I've heard shorty headers improve torque more than regular header do. I'm just wondering what type your JBA's are. Thanks.

Message: I have the Fastman Throttle Body on my 4.7 and can also highly recommend it. You can check it out at www.thefastman.com. You can't beat his quality. I had a machinist look at his work and he was truly impressed.

Message: Thanks for the input!! I do have the shorty headers. I bought them from desertrat.com. They were only about $430. That was the cheapest I found.
