Finally sold the p.o.s. dodge, (98 sport, v6) Some kid give me $7000.00. Going to buy a CIVIC. they are not like this dodges. Never gonna go back to a dodge. Two years worth of headache. not longer. see ya suckers!

I knew prior to buying, the possible failures associated with it. I bought mine to have fun with.

I've givin' it a couple durability beatings including:
-Montana snow storms and large snow drifts in -30 weather. *SMASH* through the snow drift he goes! *SMASH*
-Cold starts it comes right on without any hessitations or problems.
-Slicing through an 8" dia. 12ft. pine tree.
-Taking my friend's hooky-bobin' on nice slick roads.
-Jumping and going through places in snow I should have taken a 4x4, but instead I had a 2WD.
-Burning lamer Civics and Accords in town.
-Comfortable hours-long trips
-We can't forget my latest and feat. surprising the hell out of the fellow racers and crowd at this last Sunday's SOLO2 event. BTW, I beat a Prelude (Honda boy) each time, who was also in Novice (first time) like me.
For the most part, these are my durability tests. Of course I could go on about anything such as the stock wipers lasted perfectly through a hard winter and stuff like that, but that's not as exciting.
This truck has been awesome to me. However, I do believe my local dealer should be pushed of the side of the Earth.
If this is a serious post, I think it's funny you're going to a Civic; I don't know what you hope to gain therem, but maybe a decent traffic car. You might be going to a bit more reliability, but you're also having you're balls cut off.

ive had an 87 acura legend and it was a great car!
but it was allways was having problems coolant sensors were a regular thing!telling the computer to dump more fuel so much that it would bypass the rings and end up in the oil pan!
a set of injectors at 52,000,timing belt,cv joints,starter and a master cylinder all before 88,000 and if you think japan parts are cheap your mistaken!
my truck has 73,000 miles on it and the only thing major that was done was the seals and valve body on the trans!
take it for what its worth every car and truck out there has its good points and bad!
the dak has been betty betty good to me so much that i bought the wife a durango!

Hey 90 percent of all HONDA's are built in the U.S at Marysville Ohio so as for Buy American to keep Americans at Work i think it is B.S that you guys don't like Japanese Automobiles but we wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for the Japanese and their Engineering skills, as for the RICER comment. I own a 97 Honda Accord V-6 and I have to say i would never buy a Domestic Car from any of the Manufacters besides HONDA simply put they are the best car for my American MONEY and I keep good ole boys in OHIO at Work, as for the Trucks of Course im very partial to DODGE and will always drive one. As for the little comment from BLKDAKSPT i dont give a RAT @$$ what you buy and if you wanna a RICER then by one don't knock the DAKOTA because you don't know what the F&$K your talking about all Cars have problems or what I call them Quirks or Personalities thats what makes a good Car. Well enough of this post I have better things to do in LIFE than bash P.O.S. people like you have a good life and I hope you enjoy the CIVIC or PINTO whatever you buy

As the stock market plunges....Honda's stock is going up. I don't care where they are made. They are solid dependable transportation. I just don't use a car for everyday driving.

DAK USA,
100% Correct, Military housing at Rhein-Main AFB.
It is very convienant for wifes job. What BLKDAKSPT doesn't realize is I have 2 homes in San Antonio, Tx, 1 in Shreveport, La, and 100's of acres leased to hunters and International Paper in Louisiana. Huh, I think I deserve some toys. I'm a computer guru, LAN/WAN Administrator, and my wife is a GS-12. I get to travel the world and buy houses all over with my wifes job. I'm having fun. Tell my son that dad has to sell the Dak, the '83 RX7 (8 sec car), '93 RX7, or his computer or his sisters computer or for gods sake moms computer and he will go dig out one of his pistoles and shoot you. (he prefers the Taurus) But this doesn't hurt my feelin's, when people think your broke they don't come a bummin'.
