Does anyone know about how much rear wheel horsepower a Magnum V6 has with a 5 speed? I know the engine hp, but not the rear wheel.

It's 79% of your engine HP.

Not quite correct Ron...but close. ;)

Take the advertised HP (which is based on the crank...not the rear wheels) and subtract:

20-21% for 5-Speed
22-24% for Automatic
25-28% for 4WD/Manual
28-30% for 4WDAutomatic

That's the driveline loss factor which needs to be taken into consideration.

On the factory V6/5-Speed: 175HP "Rated" /138-140RWHP.

Would it be the same numbers to calculate the rear wheel torque?

5-7% gets sapped going through the transfer case, darn.

4Wheel and off-road tested a Bronco on a 4 wheel dyno, in 4 wheel drive, the Bronco lost about 20 hp at the wheels.

I wonder if the new generation of NVG transfer cases are more efficient? I know some of the loss in the NP231 is due to the chain which stretches over time.
