Subject: Wheel spacer reliability (chaximus) IP: Logged
Message: I saw that chaximus bought wheel spacers so that he could use his stock 16x8 rims...well I was thinking of using these along with wider tires of the same outside diameter as stock to get a more aggresive look out of the stock rims and save a few hundred bucks...anyways to get to the point...does anyone have experience with the reliability of these things...I dread the thought of driving down the interstate and watching my tires shear of at 75 mph...and chaximus if this catches your eye could you tell me how they are holding up? Thanks alot guys.

Message: I am using 1.5 in spacers on my rear axel. Got them from the dasterdly AIM. I have no complaints about them or any thing I have bought from them including the spacers. I used thread sealer on the spacer to the stock nuts. And then regular lugs to the spacer. No problem yet. Dont know about the front though.
Good Luck.
