You might want to verify that they are legal in your state first. I don't know of any in which they -are-, but I've only lived in Michigan and Florida so who knows? I hear it's a pretty hefty ticket if you get caught running them on the street.

Here is the rule in VA you can have them on your car, but illegal to ride with them on. You also have to have a shield or cover over the bulbs.

If you have any car shows in your area buy them there. You can usually get a good set for under $200.
