Stick w/the DC extended warranty. Aftermarket ones usually aren't set up as well. IMO. Remember, dealers typically mark them up dbl.

2002 QC 4x4 Sport Plus, 4.7L, auto, Patriot Blue, Tire & Handling group,
Heavy Duty Service group, Leer cap w/out windows, Mopar Step bars and roof rack, Rhino liner in bed and on step bars, Pace Edwards Power Tailgate lock

I would be very careful, my moms tranny went out on her Town Car and the aftermarket warranty people wanted proof that she changed the transmission fluid and oil since she owned it. Of course people don't keep those kind of things, and what if you did it yourself. They wouldn't pay for the new tranny, even with some proof. Waste of money.

We have a guy in the media in Colorado named Tom Martino (you can check out his website if you want at www.troubleshooter.com). He exposes a lot of scams and settles consumer disputes. He highly recommends against those extended warranties. He says that by the time you have paid for the warranty, you would end up spending the equivalent of fixing anything that could have went wrong with the car. If nothing goes wrong and you have that warranty, your just out of the money. Plus he says he's never heard of one paying a claim. They always have some small stipulation that gets them out of it.
