Was looking at this Dakota at a used car place and he said he wanted upper $9k for it...
'97 Dakota Extended Cab SLT
5.2 L Magnum V8
57,000 miles
Some kind of chip
Some kind of exhaust w/ Dual exhaust and exhaust tips
Camper thing on back
Pioneer audio system
Can't think if anything else was on it or not... If I remember anything I will post it.

www.kbb.com is the official Kelly Blue Book online website. I looked the truck up for you and showed the truck was worth about 12,950. That amount is only good for the zip code I entered. I would try a lookup with your zip and see what it shows as the cost of living and goods vary from state to state. Should mention too that I did not enter the chip, sound system, camper and dual exhaust, which will add some value to the truck.
If the truck is selling for under 10K sounds like a good deal to me.

ARE painted tonneau with lines that match the contours of your truck. I paid $700 when I first bought one for my quad cab. Uncle just bought one for his extended cab, $650 installed. It's been perfect for a year and a half.

I am unsure if you received my last post, but I have a 1997 Dakota For Sale, V-8, 318, 5.2L, Automatic, Power Windows/Power Locks, A/C but has a leak that needs repair, Longbed, with camper shell that can easily be removed. Asking $7,000/OBO. Blue Book is $7,550. It has 99,400 miles, but a good truck. Has small dent on tailgate. Dark Green with Gray interior. Very Powerful. You can call or email anytime.
