Subject: Good Lug Nuts?
IP: Logged

Message:
While rotating my tires last weekend, one of my lug nuts came apart. I guess on the Dakotas they are a two piece deal with the chrome outer cover over a regular lug nut. I am looking for a set of soldid one-piece lugs. Anybody know a good set or how much money I am looking at spending? Thanks. (they don't need to be locking)

Ummm the truck in your large pic looks like it has the same wheels (alum) that I do. Those are one piece lugs. Yet your profile looks like the chrome wheels. How many trucks do you have? hehehehe

I have the tire and handling package with aluminum wheels. Trust me, they are not a two piece lug, I have the pieces to prove it!!!! Thanks for the suggestions.

nope thay are all one piece.
You are talking about those plastic covers from several years ago?
I had them on my 95.
You can get regular lugs from a tire dealer. Or a junkyard. That is what I did for my 97 when I put the larger wheels on.

I have a 2001 Graphite. Maybe they changed between our models, but I know mine are two piece when the chrome cover came off the plain old lug. I am going to Discount Tire tomorrow to find some new ones.
