Subject: A/C Condensation Drain Tube IP: Logged
Message: Where the hell is it? I have an '01 CC 4.7 that dosen't leak a drop ANYWHERE when the a/c is on. Passenger side floorboard seems dry. I know the drain is supposed to be on the passenger side firewall near the exhaust manifold. All I have there is a small heat shield. I even took it to the dealer. A/C man and shop forman both looked at it and told me where the drain should be lol. Normally I would't be concerned but am starting to get that 'yucky' smell when I turn on the a/c. And by the way, I have an 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same engine. It drips water and the drain is right where it is supposed to be. HELP!

Message: I'm in the same boat, I've been considering going under and looking for the tube so I can put some isopropyl alcohol to kill any mold that may be forming.
