I was over at my gf's place last night and all of a sudden my truck alarm starts going off. So of course I bolt out side and there is this 16 y.o. know-nothing baggy-pant RUNT walking away from a rusted out ricer parked behind my truck. I walk down to the truck and the paint is gone from my bumber. So I follow the kid and get his attention, let him know that he hit my truck and I expect it fixed. Well this friggin moron proceeds to tell me that it wasnt him and that someone else must have done it... so I doint to the silver paint on his POS and say: "Really @sshole? Since when did putting silver paint on a yellow car become trendy?" Still he denies that it was him, and in the end I have absolutly no proof. Either way, I decided that was not worth my time or effort to try and get money from him. And he carries on about how I parked my POS truck in his spot and that I should move my b!tch @ss outta his hood. So at that point I kicked his @ss. Should teach him not to mouth off to his elders, to insult sombody's truck, and too watch where he's driving.
Now my question... how do I go about fixing the paint problems on my bumper? Take it to a body place? Or just get a bottle of touch up paint?

i know how you feel man. My girls friends alero magically had the rear bumper ground effects cracked..... and this car 4 parking spaces over (apartments) had white marks on its bumper and cracked paint. Havent seen that car since (or the person who owns it)

I took a real close look at the bumper at lunch. Thankfully all the damage is on the two bottom pieces besides the licencse plate/ball hitch recess. Those are just held on with screws so its not like I would have to leave my truck at a shop for a week.

Should've taken a photo of his bumper and yours along with both vehicles being parked near eachother. Then call your insurance company. Claim uninsured motorist and issue it as a hit and run. They will ask you whether you got the license number. Give insurance company the biotch's license plate number. You will pay an uninsured motorist deductible at first but your insurance company will go after the punk. If they ask you if you saw it happen. Say 'yes'. Especially if you are certain it was him. If they ask for proof, give them the photos. Then go beat him down again.

Okay its offical... my dealership rocks. I told the service manager the story of what happened, and first it looked at it and said "yeah.. it's waranty." I looked back at him and told him that it shouldnt be... he then proceeded to tell me about his dakota RT and how pissed he would have been so he was going to claim it as warranty just for kicking the kids a$$. So now I get those two panels repainted ($300 worth in repairs) at cost to the dealership.
After all was said and done at the body shop I saw the service manager over checking out my truck and we proceeded to talk about the RT's for an hour. He asked if Id heard about the HEMI's coming in, of course I replied.. He then told me that they were going to be shipping very few to Canada and what ones they did would be VERY expensive. I now know my source for parts, got un-warrantied body work for free, and all for kicking some kids a$$!!!! I was actually going to let the dealer fix it.. but I guess now I dont have to :)
Laters Im gonna go buy a lotto ticket, this has got to be my lucky day!

yj. good advice. Only thing is if that punk a$$ mf gave me lip about denying it, call the cops and have them file a report. see if he denies it then. then contact your insurance and get a copy of the police report. when it's investigated, they will see it's your paint on his car. YOUR insurance will go after HIS, believe me.
Some people just need a good a$$ whoopin too. maybe these little sh!+s will learn a little respect and humility. Good for you. Next time call me and I'll give ya a hand whoopin his a$$.

RTD2 you may want to be carefull now, Now that the Punk kid may be looking for your truck elsewhere and no telling what he may do to it... Just be carefull. But a Bigg Thumbs up for kicking his smart mouth ass. Yeah Baby.. Also That is one thing i cant stand is some punkass kid talking sh** and pushing your buttons, I would say kick his ass, show him who the real man is.
