Whenever I drive with my AC on for more than say 45 minutes, the AC gets very weak, and no matter how high I set it it blows very weakly. The air is still cool, but it has no force behind it, even at the highest setting. It got really annoying this past weekend driving through the desert in 107 degree heat, and the AC working at about 10%. For most rides the AC works fine, but on extended trips, or in real bad traffic, the AC seems to stop working. Any ideas as to why?

A low refrigerant charge is causing the evaporator to freeze up and block the air flow. The next time this happens turn the blower off for a short time and see if the air flow is back to normal.
