Chris W, You are right on the money!!! I would build my own vechile before I would ever go near another Ford product!!!!! I owned a Ford Tempo and at around 50,000 mile it started to self destruct.It had more electrical problems then Jimy Carter had liver pills.

Every company builds something better than everyone else but concedes something in return. The best diesel in my opinion is the Ferd Power Stroke. Best SPORTS CAR is the Cheby vette(Viper is muscle car) And Dodge dominates vans and light truck sales. They all have they're niches. So it depends on what your looking for.
Nobody is THE BEST.

I drive an Ambulance with the P-stroke in it and I agree they are the best diesels you can buy.
You have no idea of the punishment we put these things through and they just keep on running.
It's no wonder Ferd has over 90% of the public safety vehicle market covered.

Well the Ford Powerstroke may be #1 now. But give the new Chevy Dura-Max a little time & I believe we're going to see some competition for the P-Stroke.

Dodge just ain't gonna compete with the 1.4L deficit on the displacement. Although I do believe that the Cummins is better for day to day driving.

I heard the Dura-max is built for GM by Isuzu. Not that thats a bad thing, Izusu builds good diesels. anybody know if thats true?
