Message: THERE WERE SO MANY DAKOTAS AT THE RACEWAY LAST NIGHT IT WAS HELLA-COOL. ONE MINUTE WE ARE WATCHING ALL THESE DRAGSTERS, IMPORTS, AND THE OCCASIONAL MUSCLECAR, THEN HERE COMES LIKE 20 DAKOTAS THROUGH THE LINE. IT WAS REALLY A BADASS TRIP. THE ONLY THING I SAW WRONG, WAS ONE DAKOTA LOST. TO ANOTHER DAKOTA!!! THATS IT, AND IT WAS HELLA-COOL!

Message: It was fun, however the track was running very slow do to the wreck and several fluid spills. I only managed two runs that night, and the first one was a joke (I spun the tires for the first 1/8 mile).
I would like to thank all those that came out to the install party, and hope we can do it again soon.
Congrats to Bill (Dakaty) he is only a tick away from a 14+ second 1/4 mile. That is very impressive for a qaud-cab!

Message: A blast.
Hopefully next time there won't be so many problems at the track. We spent as much time in the staging lanes as we did in the pit area and stands. Did anyone stay until the track closed? We left at 11:00 while they were still cleaning up the oil spill on the track. There were quite a few cars/trucks in the staging lanes at that time.
I liked checking out everyone's mods. Especially Chris' nitrous system. I saw that he did a 12.7.

Message: We stayed until Midnight! There was another close call, and they shut things down again to clean the track. Chris got a 12.910@105.84.

Message: Dakguy!! What times did you turn in your 5 speed 4.7? Did you ever run the nitrous the full distance?
R/Truck - you must be getting good at putting on those M1s. A real nice clean job on Keelee's boyfriend's truck (funny I can't seem to remember his name (Vance maybe) but I can remember hers. Hmmmmm.) Let me know when you start installing cams and I'll be over. EMAIL me the www address of the web site we talked about.
Don - Nice wheels/tires on that thing. What times did you turn?

Message: What ever it is I don't have it. There is a mopar picnic at the San Jacinto Battleground Picnic area this Sunday I believe. I'm not going however.
Next Wednesday I will be at the track in Baytown for the elimination races. A friend of mine is going to let me borrow his slicks for a couple of passes. Another guy did this and he knocked 6 tenths off his time, so maybe it will work for me too.
Other then that nothing major is planned.

Message: R/Truck
What are "elimination races"? Sounds like you're getting pretty serious about this drag racing stuff!!
You may have to move to Baytown so you can be closer.
Artie - I don't know if "power programmers" for Dodges ae available yet. I have heard that HyperTech was supposed to be working on it.

Message: Well it's not the serious, and I don't think I'll be moving to Baytown anytime soon either. I don't like to breath that air any longer then I have to.
I'm going Wednesday not to compete but to get in a few time runs (before the elimination). I want to see if I can get a low 14, but with this heat it may be impossible.
