Subject: blown water pump IP: Logged
Message: my truck was overheating only with the a/c on.
took it in to the garage, found nothing wrong
but told it had noisy a/c compressor. So they
cleaned between the 2 rads and told me to
see if that worked. well, recently i blew the
water pump. did the a/c compressor do this to
the pump? or vise versa? what should i do
now?

Message: Water pumps just go out, the A/C doesn't really effect that. Usuelly it will sound like the fan is fixen to wobble off when your pump is going out. If I knew what year, engine, and how many miles you have maybe I could tell you more.
