hey bernd, I was just wondering.With all of the mods done to your truck, its kinda obvious you have not got much of a budget, why didnt you pay the extra couple of hundred and get a v8? with the mods you have you could have at least 80 or so horsepower. Im just wondering

Three reasons:
(1) At the time of purchase, I was on a very strict budget. (Living in Silicon Valley does that if you're not making 6 figures yearly.)
(2) When I had ordered my truck, with all the options I wanted, the V8 would have been an extra $3000. (That was in February of 1997)
(3) Why be like everyone else? ;)
With all of the mods that I have, the V8 would be around 320HP at the rear wheels. (My V6 is already 100HP beyond stock at the rear wheels.)
