Message: Does a fiberglass hood require lighter lift springs on a 2000 Dakota? I am considering getting a Cervini's, or possibly another brand of hood, and have heard that lighter springs are sometimes required, due to the tension on the factory springs being to hard, and damaging the hood when closing it. Do I need different springs for my application? Is so, where can I get them? Thanks in advance.
