Subject: Help!!! new gauge install problems. IP: Logged
Message: I just installed my new reverse indiglo speed guage face and it looks awesome. The only problem is that when the vehicle is turned off the Oil,Fuel, and Temp needles fall way below where they are supposed to go. I know how much gas is in the tank and when i turn the ignition on all the needle go to the correct locations on the guages. Any Ideas? i believe i set them back in place exactly after installing the face. I took pictures with a digital camera of the exact location fo each needle before.. and then matched it when i put them back on. And now when the truck is turned off the needle slowly sag down to the left and then keep sagging probably 1/8 of a circle below where i would expect them to be.
Could someone with a stock gauge 2000 RC 3.9 auto take a picture of their gauges with the engine running but NOT after driving for a while? I am thinking if i try to copy the placement of the Oil, Temp, Etc guages then it would restore it. Any ideas? comments suggestions?

Message: My oil pressure gauge did the same thing. I found that I had to take the needle off and put it back on while the truck was running. Make sure also that your engine temp was the same when you put the needles back on. Good luck.
