Subject: Storage in Truck Bed

Message:
Hey all-
I was wondering if anyone had any storage boxes in their truck bed. I have a Snugtop Lid and a BedRug Liner and want two boxes to mount in my truck bed to hold some tools, jumper cables and my jack. I was thinking of making them, but if anyone knows where I could buy them that would be alot easier.

I was thinking that the boxes would be good to fit in front of the driver and passenger side wheel wells. ANY IDEAS for me?

Thanks.

I would try a local farm supply store. Why?

I was at a Tractor Supply store the other day, and found some reall sweet/clean looking diamond plate tool boxes. Not the traditional boxes,,but little ones,,,one looked like a miniature filing cabinet.
The one I want is a perfect cube made of diamond plate. The tops hinges on one side, and looks like it would make a sweet permanent cooler for my truck bed. Problem is that it cost $200 for that little thing. sux.

go with a farm supply store. since my whole family farms, I can say that they are worth the money. Delta (and other companies, but we run deltas) makes a good line of boxes that are made of steel instead of diamond plate aluminum, so you can have them painted to match your truck. Every imaginable size and shape for front or back of your bed. They will almost literally last forever.
