My '95 2.5 liter Dakota "Blue" has developed a problem. The cooling fan seized up and blew the fusible link. Of course, I didn't know the fan had failed, just that Blue would not turn over, I could bump start her, but nothing else! When I found and replaced the fusible link, she started normally, until the fuse blew again.
To make a long story short, I replaced the starter, and then found the fan problem and replaced that-now Blue will only crank when she is at operating temperature! If she is cold, the engine will not turn over and I have to bump start her My Chilton manual is of little help.
Any body know what is going on, and how do I fix it?
Thanks for the help!
Dave Huntington
PS any body got a map of the fuse box? My owner's manual is non-existent.
