Message: ok, i've got a real problem with my truck that is really annoying and i assume all u have it too. Last night i was driving in the hardest rain i've ever driven in. On the highway there are huge puddles and whenever i passed through them the water would keep splashing up in front of my windshield not allowing me to view anything. It was just as bad as having a waterfall falling down on my windshield. What is causing this? Anything I can do? No other vehicle i had would do that. Shouldn't it splash out to the sides? Any help would be greatly appreciated because i Really want to avoid that ever happening again. I thought I was going to die and there was not much i could do.

Message: Those must have been some real deep puddles... the only way I can see it doing that is if the front end was actually shoving water out of the way (airdam), meaning you were probally going -way- to fast for the conditions.

Message: Mine actually throws quite a bit of water up to the windshield in deeper puddles also. I've had it happen at only 40 mph on the turnpike in a big downpour, but it also happens occasionally during less harsh conditions. Mine's a 2001 4X4, what about yours "fot80"? Maybe it's the height or something...

Message: I've got a 2001 4x4 also. I was going even slower than 40. I have that stuff happen to me at 20 if the puddle is kind of deep.
