Subject: Bondo substitute - Grill on polyurathane IP: Logged
Message: Putting my homade grille on my truck, and am just going to put it on using some kind of bondo. Tried it today, and by the time I got from my friends house, to my house, it had already fallen halfway off, meaning the bondo must not be working as good as needed. any other substances that will stick to the polyurathane bumper better? Thanks for your help

Message: Fiberglass resin or alumilite(www.alumilite.com). You will have to scuff the urithan to get either to stick. In the movie In the Line of Fire the gun the guy makes is cast out of plastic. He casts it with alumilite. Really cool stuff. You mix the two liquids and in about 3 minutes you have a solid plastic that bonds to what seems like any surface. It's machinable as well. Anyway, those are my two ideas.
