I enjoy washing it every day, sometimes more than once. While i could have gotten a bigger, more manly truck, i opted to get the beloved Dodge Dakota. I love my truck. I am just glad i found this web site so i can share the love i feel for my truck with other fellow Dakota lovers.

IF you dry you truck with a baby diaper...its love. If you spend more time under the hood of your truck than on top of your wife/gf...its love.
If you wake up in the morning and look out the window to admire your "baby".....its love. Any more questions?

My wife feels the need at intersections to inform me that there is a car coming from her side and not to pull out. I continue to remind her that I have no intention of pulling out in front of that car because I wouldn't want anything to happen to my passenger side door! LOL

My fiancee has 3 closets FULL of clothes - NONE of which she uses every day (unlike the Dak I drive every day) so the 'I didn't need that' argument doesn't float for long with me. :)_
Current mods: A MUFFLER. That's it. (For now.)

My wife told me that I spend too much money on my truck and not enough on her.
So I told her when she started to spend more money on my truck, I would spend more on her...
Do this day she hasn't bought me anything for my truck....
So I guess I love my truck more than my wife. Atleast in the divorce, I get to keep my truck.

I agree with Mark, I love my truck too but my wife is always leaving her useless (to me) junk (her old used hair brushes, shoes..,) in my baby. It's my truck and my useless junk has priority over hers.

I am usually a very cheap person, but when it comes to my Dakota, I really don't mind splurging. The older I get, the more I realize that you only go around this place once so you might as well enjoy it, and boy does spending money on my truck make me enjoy it!

That must be cool, having a gf that drives a dak too. but I think (in my houshold) it might cause problems as well, because we would always be racing when we saw each other on the road... and I would win, because I would let my gf have a faster truck than me... no no no, just couldn't let that happen. But cool none the less.
