i have a 1992 dakota and the wipers aren't moving the motor is working, but the wipers stay in place. can anyone give me a clue?

All the motor does is spins... Check to see if the nut that holds the wipers on fell off...
Happened to me before!

yea,tighten the end nuts, sounds like the star shaft's are spinning. they may be stripped or the nuts just need to be tightened. happens some times if the blades get stuck to the winshield. no big deel.
