Subject: Replaced battery, still NO start IP: Logged
Message: Background info: left my lights on, approx 3 hours later turned them off before they had run the battery all the way down, but could not jump start it. engine at first sputtered and tried to turn over, 2nd attempt to jump it it made no noise at all. got battery tested - said it was bad - replaced the battery. still won't start up, no clicking/etc.. from the starter
ideas?

Message: Will your horn honk or lights come? If not then you have a bad wire or blown a fuse.
If lights work and all fuses are ok, you may want to inspect your starter and anything else that is inline with it.

Message: Bet you got the cables wrong on the attempted jump start and blew the fuseable link. (Been there, done that.)

Message: certainly tell us what year you have. One time at a parking lot my 4.7 wouldn't turn over but luckily the dealership was across the parking lot. Bad cam positioning sensor.
