Message: I bought Raybestos Quiet stops. Got em from Pep Boys...(special order) They ran about 60 bux for the pair.
The are made of a ceramic compound so they are low noise and low dust.

Message: Those raybestos ceramic pads work great on the low dust but i have seen lots of trouble with them getting to hot and warping rotors faster than the semi metalic pads. Id look for a semi metalic pad pepboys ussually has them in stock

Message: I'm running the Raybestos PG+ pads on the Powerslot rotors and they seem to work real good. I've been running them for 4 months now. Very little dust.

Message: I just put on some raybestos semi-metallic pads and some generic rotors. it seems better and for my first ever brake job, it only took a little over 4 hours, lol. I did notice one thing before my brake job that I still have. at very slow speeds, under 20mph, I get this tin sounding rattle from my front end from what it sounds like. sorta like if something was hitting my exhaust pipe or heat shield. I checked and the drive shaft is clear of everything.
I did notice that it seems the pads are in constant contact with the rotors, is that right? with the front end raised, I can turn the tires and hear ever so slightly, very barely, the pads rubbing. my old pads were grinding on the metal rivits and my rotors were badly scard.
